REFUND POLICY:
All requests for cancellations, refunds, or transfers must be submitted to South Windsor Parks and Recreation by 4:30 p.m. on the Wednesday of the week prior to the start of the program or session for a full refund. Requests can be made via email to rec@southwindsor-ct.gov or in-person at our Parks and Recreation Facility office. Any requests made verbally or sent to a different person or entity will not be processed. Requests for cancellations, withdrawals, or transfers received after the start of the session but prior to the halfway point of the session (four weeks in) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to receive a pro-rated refund. Requests for cancellations, withdrawals or transfers after the halfway point in the session (four weeks in) are not eligible for a refund.

All refund requests are subject to Parks and Recreation Department’s discretion, and as such, full and/or pro-rated refunds are not guaranteed.

WAIT LIST POLICY:
Parks and Recreation allows participants to add themselves to the waitlist of certain programs if they are closed or full. If a spot opens in the program, the participant in the first position on the waitlist will be sent an email notifying them of the opportunity to register. The participant must register using the link provided in the email within 24 hours of notification or they will forfeit their placement on the waitlist. A follow up phone call will be made prior to moving to the next participant as a reminder. The space will continue to be offered to the next participant on the waitlist until filled. If any participant has special accommodation requests or information helpful to the instructor, please contact the parks and recreation department at rec@southwindsor-ct.gov two weeks prior to the start of the program.
