Whether you'd like to work weekly summer concerts, outdoor movies, or a just a few events a month, we have small and large scale events throughout the year and this flexible position allows you to choose which events you'd like to work.

Summer Camp Seasonal Employment

Summer time is coming up quickly and we are looking to fill our seasonal staff roster with new camp counselors for the 2025 season! South Windsor Parks and Recreation is seeking  enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals who are creative and excited to foster new experiences for the youth in our community!

Open Positions: 

Seasonal opportunity: June through August, approximately 40 hours per week

Farmers' Market Seasonal Employment

The South Windsor Parks and Recreation Department's Farmers Market is looking for a seasonal Farmers Market Assistant. The Farmers Market Assistant will be responsible for assisting with on-site preparation and day-of market operations.
