ACA Accredited. Welcome to Little Explorers! The best place to keep your little ones active this summer. Our eight, one week sessions offer three camp choices: 3 half days, 5 half days, or 5 full days. Sign up for one or all eight!

Our camp setting at Wapping Parks and Recreation is ideal for young campers. Camp will be held in the same classrooms that our popular preschool program use! Join our Director and a dynamic staff of trained counselors for theme days, songs, stories, games, arts and crafts, water play, indoor and outdoor activities, and snacks! Our rotating schedule ensures all campers will be active and engaged while working on socialization and large and small motor skills. Children will be broken into age-appropriate groups and daily outside play adds to your camper's experience. Camp on Wednesday morning is held at Veterans Memorial Park (VMP). On these days, drop off (for all campers) and pick up (for half-day campers) will be at VMP. Swimming and camp fun highlight the morning. Full day campers ages 4 & 5 will ride on a school bus with pick up being at Wapping Parks and Recreation facility at 4:00. 3 year old campers are not permitted to ride the school bus so they must be picked up and brought back to Wapping Parks & Recreation.  All Campers must be potty-trained! 

Camp Options: 

3 Half-Day - Ages 3-5

Your little camper will enjoy three mornings of camp, enjoying activities with their new friends.  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 8:30 am - 12:00 pm 

5 Half-Day - Ages 3-5

For campers who want to enjoy camp all week long! These campers will participate in Little Explorers activities every weekday morning!

Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 12:00 pm 

5 Full-Day - Ages 3-5

Full day campers will be involved in great camp activities all day Monday-Friday! Campers will bring their own lunches each day (please no products that contain nuts). Full day campers also enjoy additional crafts, activities, games free play, and much more. Afternoons will also include "rest time" so please bring a pillow and blanket. Transportation will be provided from VMP pool to the Wapping Parks and Recreation Facility on Wednesdays for 4 and 5 year old's. Full day 3 year old's must be picked up at VMP and transported back to Wapping Parks & Recreation.
